Our Youth & Education Program elevates and exposes youth in areas focused on ensuring academic competence while preparing young people for life, leadership, and success within a global economy.

SIGNATURE PROGRAMS

READ AND RISE LITERACY PROGRAM
Pairs kindergarten through fifth-grade students with caring volunteer literacy coaches to improve their reading proficiency and comprehension.

PROJECT READY
Prepares African Americans and other historically under-served youth, grades 9 -12, with a spectrum of support, services, and opportunities provides a comprehensive, research-based approach to preparing young people and families for the challenges and promise of college, work, and life.

LEADERSHIP ACADEMY

Unlock your potential and step into your future with the Urban League of Middle Tennessee's Leadership Academy program for high school boys in grades 9-12. Our program offers a unique, hands-on learning experience that blends dynamic workshops, real-world projects, and career exploration. This immersive academic curriculum is designed to help you discover your passions, develop essential leadership skills, and prepare for life beyond high school.

Throughout the Leadership Academy, you'll have the chance to explore a variety of fields, gain insights into potential careers, and engage in activities that promote self-discovery and personal growth. Our program also offers ACT prep classes, designed to help boost your test scores and open doors to higher education opportunities.
