DECEMBER 3
Be a champion for our community
GivingTuesday is a global generosity movement, unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and their world. GivingTuesday kicks off the generosity season this year by inspiring people to give back on December 3 and into the new year.
One hundred percent of the monetary gifts from this year’s ULMT GivingTuesday campaign will go to support the Presidential Scholarship Fund, which supports eligible college students who's proven their worthiness and deserve the right to stay in school.
“Education and Youth Leadership are among our primary tenets . One of our primary efforts in this area is investing in some of our local students to support them in their higher education journey through our Presidential Scholarship program. No student should have to drop out of college because they don't have the funds for tuition. So, through our GivingTuesday campaign, we are asking our community to help the Urban League help those college students finish strong. It's not about how you start, but how you finish. Your support will help make a difference in some college students' lives.”
